A meeting was held on 11th March 2022 at PHC among the prominent members of PHC, MPBC and Malaysia OBOR (One Belt One Road) Development Chamber of Commerce.
PHC was represented by Mr Shafqat Niazi and Mr Muhammad Anns and MPBC was represented by Chairman, Dato Sri Mohamed Nazir and Secretary, Mohamed Salim.
Malaysia OBOR Development Chamber of Commerce was represented by Prof Fan Ha Chun ( Founding President), Prof Datuk Jerrad Gan J.P ( Honorary President ) , Dato’ Mohd Joned Mohd Saad ( Honorary Advisor) and Prof Dato Christopher Won (Honorary Advisor).
This Chamber has 1500 members with a minimum turn over of RM30 million per member and their members are Malaysian, Chinese , Indonesian and Vietnamese.
Due to rising cost of logistic, labour and exchange rate, Malaysia OBOR Development Chamber of Commerce is viewing Pakistan as their next destination for investment. Mr Shafqat made a presentation on the various schemes initiayed by the Govt of Pakistan to encourage foreign investment.
