We are pleased to announce Mr. Humayun Habib’s participation in the ICAP delegation at a networking dinner hosted by Her Excellency Ms. Rukhsana Afzal, the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Singapore.
The event saw distinguished guests, including H.E. Mr. Shamsheer Zaman, Singapore’s non-resident Ambassador for Jordan, as well as ICAP leadership represented by President Mr. Farrukh Rahman and former Vice President Mr. Arsalan Khalid. Also in attendance were Mr. Pulkit Barol, Managing Director of ACCA Asia Pacific, and members of the managing committee of the ASEAN Chapter of ICAP Members, Mr. Munir Hasan and Mr. Adeel, representatives from Audit Alliance Mr. Bernard Lee (senior partner) and Ms Felice Tan (Senior manager), Mr. Jibran (CEO Singapore accountants) among others.
Discussions at the dinner covered various areas of mutual interest, including forthcoming institutional initiatives, sustainability endeavors, and the potential for exporting accounting services. Strategies for expanding the international footprint through chapters were also explored.
Of particular note was the High Commissioner’s expressed full support for ICAP’s initiatives in Thailand and the proposal for a collaborative effort with the Secretary of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to enhance the export of accounting services.
Furthermore, the gathering addressed ways to stimulate Singapore and ASEAN interest in mutual endeavors.
The evening concluded with expressions of gratitude to H.E. Ms. Rukhsana for graciously hosting the dinner, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration among esteemed participants.
